Vee Wilson is president of Desert Valley Academy (University).  He graduated from Southern Utah University with a BA and from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 1969 with a MA. Vee served in numerous administrative positions in his over thirty years with the Clark County School District. He is a founder and was the Chief Educational Officer of Odyssey Charter School in Las Vegas, Nevada. Odyssey is the largest and most successful charter school in the State of Nevada. Mr Wilson has been active in many educational associations both locally and nationally and has served as an Executive Board member of the Clark County Association of School Administrators and President of the Clark County Association of Elementary Principals. Mr. Wilson served as the Bishop of the Logandale 2nd Ward for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was President of the Logandale Stake from 1982-1991. His church service included President of the Singles Branch and the appointment as Region Welfare Agent, Panaca Welfare Region of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was named to the Clark County School District's Excellence in Education Hall of Fame in 1990. He was selected for the "National Educators Award" by the Milken Family Foundation.
