Phased Approach to Curriculum Development:We are using a phased approach in reestablishing Nauvoo University: Nauvoo Study Program: In this first phase we will offer basic classes but no degrees. The classes will be traditional, online and hybrid. By careful selection the student will be able to take online and hybrid classes that transfer to other institutions if they so desire. Classes offered are general education classes and classes that fit well into the Nauvoo environment. Nauvoo College: Our hope is that we can advance by 2012 from a Study Program to a two-year college. Onu initial associate degrees will probably be General Education, History, and English. Nauvoo University: We hope eventually to develop a four-year curriculum and expand into a small four-year college.
