Reorganization & Incorporation
Nauvoo University is being reorganized and reincorporated as a non-profit corporation under the laws of the State of Illinois. The institution has been known historically as the University of the City of Nauvoo and the University of Nauvoo, and will be incorporated under the name Nauvoo University.
The University is also applying for 501(c)(3) status from the federal government, reflecting its commitment to operating as a tax-exempt educational organization.
